BIG SOUND, COMPACT FORM
Winner of What Hi-Fi’s Best Desktop Speaker award for seven years, the MR1 Mk2 became a firm favourite, but the Mk3 improves upon this greatness with a sound that’s simply exceptional.
The new handcrafted cabinets provide ideal acoustic properties and with their bevelled front edges and Slate Grey grilles, now look even more stylish. Size wise the enclosures have been subtly enlarged to allow optimum volume for our new NS+ Bass/Mid units and for amplification we’ve adapted the Class D technology used in our R410, for a sizeable increase in power output and control. Painstaking optimisation of the speaker crossover and reflex tuning have resulted in a significant leap in acoustic performance. The MR1 Mk3 delivers deeper bass, a clear lucid midrange, and exceptional high frequency detail from our custom 20mm silk dome tweeters, so from the shimmer of cymbals to the resonance of a cello, every nuance is delivered with clarity and depth.

Equipped with Bluetooth aptX HD, they deliver pristine high resolution wireless playback and with switchable connections including a combined analogue/optical input, USB audio input and a dedicated turntable input you can easily plug in auxiliary devices of your choice. Whether you’re streaming, playing vinyl, gaming, or connecting your television for an enhanced viewing experience, MR1 can do it all.
